**Overview**:
**Main duties**:

- Identify potential new donors and collaborate on recruitment strategies;
- Soliciting donors directly
- Develop and maintain relationships with donors;
- Implement various donor recognition and retention elements
- Participate in the development and implementation of annual fundraising campaigns;
- Develop and implement all logistics for third party events
- Organize and plan fundraising events (1 or 2 per year) under the supervision of the Philanthropic Development and Communications Department

**Requirements for this position**:

- Post secondary diploma in management, communications, philanthropy or relevant discipline
- Previous experience in philanthropy, sales, fundraising, communications or other relevant role.
- Proficiency with Salesforce database; Proficiency with Salesforce (asset)
- Must have Excellent abilities in French and English (spoken and written) Requirement
- Proficiency with Microsoft office and publishing software (asset)
- Knowledge of WordPress content management system (asset)

Required skills:

- Excellent time management and priority setting skills;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Ability to multi-task
- Use of good stress management and coping skills
- Ability to show initiative and autonomy;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and team building skills.

Conditions:

- Permanent position (28 hours per week); Schedule to be determined;
- Occasional evening and weekend hours required;
- Group insurance, life insurance and pension plan after 350 hours of work;
- 3 weeks vacation per year after one year;
- 7 personal/sick days per year
- Telecommuting: 1 day/week
- Salary range: $23.27 and $34.90, dependent on experience.
