**Title: Community Engagement Specialist**

ANIW seeks a Commuity Engagement Specialist to join our team to engage and promote ANIW’s mission, vision, values, programs, and projects.

This role involves the use of engagement strategies developed to engage past and present ANIW members and prospective members in the community. Identify grant opportunities and use required tools to obtain the grants required by ANIW, Knowledge of data management systems will be helpful in developing quarterly progress reports for the network.

The Specialist will work closely with ANIW’ s executive director and board of directors to plan for the continuity and implementation of the network’s strategies.

**Qualifications Required**:
**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience implementing and conducting engagement strategies and planning events to promote partnerships.
- Knowledge of and experience in using database platforms.
- A general understanding of grants at the federal and provincial level.
- A strong philanthropic mindset to help ANIW grow its opportunities in the
- in the community.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to creatively engage a diverse audience through events and social media strategies.
- Experience in customer relations management system
- Other duties as needed.
