**Accountabilities**:
- Knowledge of death claim processes and procedures to assess & process claims based on the contract provisions and requirements needed-
- Process annuity death claims within the established service standards-
- Accounting knowledge, ability to assess financial discrepancies and overpayments
- Tax reporting requirements
- Provide compassionate yet professional assistance to our advisors/beneficiaries
- Provide exceptional customer service to our internal and external partners and families of our deceased client’s
- Acknowledge inquiries within 24 hours
- Prepare correspondence for applicable parties (beneficiary, estate, lawyers)
- Follow internal/external quality assurance procedures-
- Adhere to strict Privacy/AML guidelines**Qualifications and Competencies**:
- Administrative experience with Annuity Products or the RPS system will be a definite asset
- Knowledge of the Annuity products Canada Life offers
- Team oriented and dedicated to the individual and overall team goals
- Self-motivated with an ability to effectively multi-task and meet our service standards
- Strong organizational skills to manage the various service standard requirements
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Customer focused with effective oral and written communication skills showing compassionate yet remain objective
- Ability to have a positive enthusiastic attitude to foster collaboration among team members
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook

**Bilingual (French and English) a requirement**
- The base salary for this position is between **$**39,200**:

- $**58,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
