Child Service Coordinator Ii

We are currently recruiting for a full time, contract (40 hours/week), Child Service Coordinator II in Wetaskiwin.
This is a contract position and will end on January 1, 2026, with the possibility of an extension.
**Job Summary**:
The Child Service Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of FSCD support services to individual children and their families. This position will be tasked with conducting initial assessment, service planning, and conducting follow up meetings to verify that the needs and requirements of children and their families are being met. The Service Coordinator will connect the family to appropriate social service providers as necessary. Other duties will include creating and maintaining case files in a confidential manner, acting as a point of contact for various support service agencies and as an advocate for the clients.
**What This Job Requires**:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Services (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with individuals with emotional and behavioral needs
- Experience supporting individuals with complex and high behaviours
- Previous experience in mental health would be considered an asset
- Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory role
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Child Intervention Record Check
- Clear and Current Driver's Abstract
- A vehicle and valid class 5 driver's license - requirement to transport clients in your personal vehicle
- Proof of Vehicle Insurance showing $2 million liability coverage
- Proof of Vehicle Registration for insured vehicle
**What We Offer**:
- The annual compensation for this position is $51,698.88 to $58,192.56 and is based on qualifications and experience.
