Job Title: Co-op Student - Reception with Exposure to Mortgage, Finance, and HR

Job Description: NFS - Network Financial Solutions is currently seeking a highly organized and motivated co-op student to join our team as a receptionist. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, while also having the opportunity to gain exposure to various aspects of the mortgage, finance, and HR fields. This position will allow you to develop valuable skills in customer service, administrative support, and gain insights into these areas of business.

**Salary**: The salary for this co-op student position is estimated to be $16 per hour.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome clients and visitors, and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary.
- Provide administrative support such as managing incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist in maintaining organized records and documentation related to client interactions, appointments, and inquiries.
- Utilize Canva software to create visually appealing materials such as brochures, flyers, or social media posts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient communication within the office.
- Learn about various aspects of mortgages, finance, and HR by observing and assisting team members in related tasks.
- **Nice to Have**: Fluency in Tagalog, Cantonese, or Mandarin languages to assist clients who may prefer communication in those languages.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant program such as Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using Canva or similar graphic design tools to create visually appealing materials.
- Genuine interest in learning about mortgages, finance, and human resources.

Duration: This is a 6-month co-op position.
