Job Description: Commissioning Completions Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of CMS program software and processes to ensure effective system turnover.
- Organize temporary system transfers from construction to CSU (Commissioning and Start-Up) control.
- Drive the turnover process, including participating in inspections, system walkdowns, punchlist and mitigation plans, and managing test records and documentation archiving.
- Develop, schedule, and manage system walkdown inspections, creating necessary walkdown packages.
- Establish and maintain the Master Punchlist tracking tool, guiding deficiency completion activities.
- Maintain a Post Handover/Warranty deficiency list.
- Understand the system validation ITR (Installation Test Report) process and coordinate efforts for completion.
- Collaborate with Project, Engineering, Construction, Quality, CSU, and Operations teams to ensure a complete and accurate turnover of systems from construction phase to final operations handover.
- Generate daily completions status reports, working closely with scheduling to identify any project plan misalignment.
- Read and interpret P&ID's (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), Isometrics, SLD's (Single Line Diagrams), and Loop Diagrams, effectively communicating with various disciplines to ensure accurate system turnover.
- Collect, file, and archive proper CSU documentation according to standard practice.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new technology and gaining understanding of a wide array of plant systems, including electrical, piping, mechanical, controls, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Assist the "Tiger Team" in deficiency mitigation, tracking, and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Project Management Responsibilities:

- Monitor commissioning progress and execution in real-time, providing regular reports.
- Develop and implement mitigation plans, in collaboration with the CSU Manager, to address any lagging events and ensure adherence to the schedule.
- Identify schedule conflicts and understand system priorities.
- Relate time-phased budgets to commissioning systems/subsystems.
- Understand technical performance, schedule, and budget parameters.

Qualifications:

- Minimum certification of a Power Engineer (4th Class), Journeyman Interprovincial Red Seal, Process Technician/Technologist, Professional Process Engineer, or PMP.
- Excellent working knowledge of CMS program software and processes.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively manage the turnover process and coordinate inspections, punchlists, and documentation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&ID's, Isometrics, SLD's, and Loop Diagrams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proactive learner with the ability to adapt to new technology and understand a wide range of plant systems.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to monitor progress, develop mitigation plans, and understand technical performance, schedule, and budget parameters.
