**Position Description**:The Sales Manager is responsible for generating top line revenue, while creating a positive and enthusiastic sales environment for both hotels and Brands. This individual must be passionate about sales, a self-starter with a proven track record of top sales achievement in the hospitality industry, and have a desire to continue building a more successful sales and hospitality career.

**This Includes**:

- Develop top-line Budget, Sales and Marketing Plan with General Managers and Regional Director of Sales, and implement these strategies.
- Knowledgeable about all market segments and sources of business, with a direct focus on selling and booking quality extended stay and corporate transient room nights.
- Keen understanding of local market dynamics, economic trends and supply and demand.
- Maintain electronic sales database ( Delphi.fdc).
- Preparation and review of all required sales reporting.
- Active participation in the hotels Revenue and Yield Management Strategies.
- Managing all areas of sales in accordance with Hilton Garden Inn Brand reports and the ability to interpret revenue management and other sales-related reports.
- Maintain a professional rapport within the business and local community.
- Supports' hotels' highest standards and contributes to the delivery of consistent exceptional guest service experience.

**Job Requirements**:
Minimum 5 years hotel sales experience.
- Hilton OnQ system and Delphi.fdc experience a big asset
- Superior knowledge of the Corporate Market segment
- Proficient in English verbal and written communication.
- Must have knowledge of the local area
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Sales Pro, Teams and Zoom and other virtual meeting platforms.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays and travel as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Hotel Management Degree or Diploma preferred

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

- MISSISSAUGA, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 5 years (preferred)
