**Dass Metal Products** is a manufacturer of light and heavy gauge metal studs for the construction drywall industry. There will also be an opportunity to sell other steel products which Dass offers. J Dass has been in the construction and development industry for over 30 years. Dass began as a modest retail business and has now expanded into industrial and commercial development including hotels, banquet halls and residential high rise and other many other businesses. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative to generate leads and drive sales. The Sales Representative's responsibilities include submitting regular sales reports to management, informing potential and existing customers of product features and benefits, and resolving customer complaints. You should also be able to create as well as present persuasive sales proposals to customers to encourage sales and obtain repeat business.

**Position Summary**

The Sales Representative is responsible for selling products through the achievement of opportunity-based sales. The Sales Representative will reach his or her business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites. This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role.

**What you’ll do**:

- Maintain and foster relationships with current customers ensuring the customer’s needs are being met.
- Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within the client base.
- Emphasize product features and benefits, quote prices, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
- Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth with a focus on value-added products.
- Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue, by cold calling if necessary.
- Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and competitor activities.
- Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity and represent the company in a positive manner.
- Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner.
- Use marketing data using applicable sales management software tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records, including sales intel reports, expense reimbursement forms, and other documentation.
- Assist in creating a request for proposal (RFP) responses to potential clients.

**What you’ll need**:

- ** Building Materials/Construction/Manufacturing sales experience preferred.**
- Prior knowledge of Dass Metal Products is considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to conduct presentations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs; Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.

**Working Conditions**:

- Frequent travel is required, often up to several hours of driving per day.
- Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations.
- Overtime as required.
