**The Role**:
The role comes with a total compensation package comprised of a competitive base compensation _**$26 - $28**_ per hour, health, dental & insurance benefits, a wellness spending account, and a Company RRSP matching program. We also support our employees with a compensation package that includes professional development.
As an Office Administrator, you will deliver exceptional customer service by skillfully performing a variety of administrative functions. Your role will include accounts payable, payroll, data entry, front desk support, and a myriad of other administrative duties.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Review and improve the existing scheduling process for support staff (hostesses and attendants), ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Expand the scheduling process to include funeral directors, coordinating tasks such as funeral arrangements, gravesides, burials, memorials, viewings, celebrations of life, and witnessed cremations.
- Coordinate schedules across multiple locations to meet staffing needs, accommodating the unique demands of each location.
- Provide consistent support by dispatching resources for client services, including handling initial service requests ("first calls") and coordinating necessary resources for dispatch.
- Provide administrative support to office locations, assisting with filing, answering calls, and handling basic office operations.
- Maintain detailed records of schedules, making adjustments as necessary to meet service requirements and ensure adequate staffing to fulfill commitments.
- Demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service, building strong relationships through a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Communicate effectively and assertively with staff and leadership to ensure clear expectations, proper staffing, and smooth service delivery.
- Collaborate with funeral directors, and support staff to ensure smooth operations and service quality.
- Lead by example, staying engaged and supportive of company initiatives and aligning with company policies, service standards, purpose, and values.
- Actively monitor and address any issues that arise, ensuring all actions are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Perform general office duties, including filing, answering calls, and handling administrative tasks to support location operations.
