We have two hotel chains: Accent Inns, where there is a rubber duck in every room, and Hotel Zed, where we rebel against the ordinary. Our latest venture is ROAR, our live-fire restaurant in Tofino, BC. We are searching for an IT Manager to join our flock of totally unique and fun-loving individuals to drive our business forward in the long term.

This role reports to the VP of People and Culture and is a key player in the organization working across departments to implement IT and Security strategies at every level. We are committed to modernizing our IT and security programs and technologies to help empower our teams to drive revenue and make everything better.

**What the Role is Quacked Up to Be**

**In your first 3 months, you will **
- Work with our Director of Revenue (Greg) who has been responsible for IT to date to learn and understand our current processes and systems.
- Work with our Systems Administrator (remote) to understand our current ticketing process and how our infrastructure is currently set up and built.
- Review our current technology stack (add in later) and see where there are limitations and areas where we could create more efficiency.
- Work with our current MSP provider to develop an offboarding plan.
- Meet and build relationships with our Operations team to fully understand their needs and roadblocks.
- Visit each one of our locations to meet our GMs and learn more about their IT needs and pain points.

**In your first 12 months, you will **
- Have helped build out the IT team by hiring and onboarding a Helpdesk Engineer and Systems Admin to take over day-to-day ticketing and maintenance.
- Work with our VP of People and Culture to develop a long-term strategic IT plan to improve security and modernize our IT programs and processes.
- Fully offboard and migrate all IT support and infrastructure from our current MSP in-house with clear guides and processes on role responsibilities and success metrics.
- Have developed close partnerships with all departments with clear ticketing processes.
- Built out an IT Sharepoint resource page for all troubleshooting assistance and support for frontline staff at each of our properties.
- Manage and support the IT team with regular feedback conversations.
- Develop a vendor evaluation process and manage all 3rd party contracts and technology renewals.
- Have regular check-ins with department leaders to ensure clear lines of communication and feedback are shared across teams.

This is a new role at Accent, and we are looking for someone who loves to build and drive the success of a new team. We are a collaborative team that values communication, clarity, authenticity, and leading with love above all else.

**What to expect**

**First Interview (45min)**: You will meet with our lovely HR Business Partner for Rebel Base (Claudia) and have an initial call to discuss your experience and answer your questions about Accent Inns/Hotel Zed/ROAR.

**Second Interview (60min)**: Meet with Noah our VP of P&C and Greg our Director of Revenue to discuss your technical expertise, what the role will look like long term, and answer more of your questions.

**Final Interview (45min)**: Meet with Chris Campbell our President and Natalie Corbett, our Director of Continuous Improvement for a final discussion on why we a
