**The Position**: CI Specialist

**Role Purpose**: The CI Specialist actively pursues continuous improvement, and cost savings initiatives autonomously.

**Reporting to**: Director of Operations

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Pursue Continuous Improvement projects that will contribute to bottom line company performance improvements
- Pursue Cost Savings initiatives that will contribute to bottom line company performance improvements
- Work with the Director of Operations to quantify results, effects, and tracking of projects/initiatives executed
- Suggest & Implement technology and automation in the production facility
- Proactively develop and / or evaluate new techniques to increase productivity and efficiency. Implement change
- Liaise with other departments as required to plan and execute projects
- Comply with all company, customer, and legislative food safety, health & safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Support Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SRED) data collection
- Other duties as required by the business

- **Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications**_
- Minimum 2 years experience in a production environment
- Solid working knowledge of production processes
- **Post-secondary degree** in Engineering Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline will be considered an asset
- **Superior communication skills** in a multicultural environment and the ability to deal with a variety of front-line industrial relations issues
- The flexibility to adapt to a dynamic operation schedule.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, **Google G Suite**, **MS Office, BI or equivalents**:

- Strong knowledge of applicable **Health and Safety** regulations

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
