Reporting to the Regional Supervisor, Payroll. The incumbent will assist in the day-to-day operation of the Payroll Service and preparation of timely, accurate and complete payroll payments.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Level 1 of the CPA Certificate Program or the equivalent in related experience in a complex payroll environment required
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of Source Deduction analysis and reconciliation
- Knowledge of HOOPP preferred
- Excellent Keyboarding skills required
- Basic knowledge of general accounting principles
Ability to work in a high-pressure, time sensitive environment
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision
- Evidence of effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Consistent and regular attendance required
- Flexible in work schedule
- Consistent and regular attendance required
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset
- Full vaccination in accordance with Niagara Health's Vaccination Policy
