**Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
- Identify and target potential customers through market analysis and research, focusing on hospitals, clinics, laboratories and medical professionals.
- Conduct outside sales activities, including regular visits to clients, conducting product demonstrations, representing the company at industry tradeshows, prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue.
- Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and report on performance metrics.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and enhance brand visibility.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in sales, preferably in the medical device industry or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Experience in account management with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Although not required, French communication skills is an asset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel across Canada as required for client meetings and events.
