**Key tasks for this position include**:

- Determine and define scope of work and deliverables for residential and commercial renovation and build projects
- Work in tandem with Interior Designers to scope projects, predict resources and timelines
- Work with clients to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites (e.g. Municipal, Strata etc)
- Draft and submit budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Manage costs in order to meet budget
- Schedule and orchestrate MBD designers, production and admin assistants; as well as externals trades and suppliers across entire project timeline
- Identify and mitigate risks to project(s); proactively managing and escalating as required
- Assist with initial designer/client meetings on-site.
- Research and gather trade quotes and manage trade relationships.
- Assisting in shop drawing reviews.
- Assisting with review of drawings (architectural, electrical, mechanical).
- Assisting with budgeting/estimating.
- Maintaining documentation, including project budgets, schedules and client updates.
- Keep meeting minutes and initiating requests for information to keep clients and designers updated.
- Manage construction schedule and activities; ensure proper site protection and mobilization efforts
- Issue progress updates on job status, costs and timelines internally and for clients
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes

**Software & Application Proficiency**:

- Trello, Slack, Canva
- Google Suite: Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides etc

**Qualifications**:

- Travel is required within Vancouver & Lower Mainland - Valid Driver’s License Required
- Project managing background 3-5 years of experience is ideal.
- Administrative experience.
- Ability to maintain accurate data.
- Must demonstrate initiative, diligence, follow-through and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively and keep internal updates on project progress.
- Ability to communicate road-blocks and ask for assistance when needed.
- Ability to read construction drawings, use excel, google docs & exceptional with organization.
- Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
- Proficient in Google Office Applications and general computer software
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
- High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Impeccably presented and professional with style.
- Excellent client relation and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
