**Project Coordinator (12‐month fixed term)**

//Capital Projects

Position Purpose and Summary

The Project Coordinator will coordinate projects that fall under the umbrella of Capital Projects and

Capital Renewal in the Campus Operations department. This position will be allocated tasks by the

Project Leads and liaise with internal stakeholders as well as external vendors and contractors. This

position will provide support for the successful execution of projects at TWU.

Key Areas of Accountability:
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and activities

Track progress and results of completed work

Oversee project invoicing approvals, including facilitating signing authorization

Responsible for schedule tracking, reports, meeting minutes, budget tracking

Create and manage shared project files including drawings, schedules, trades, and project

details

Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders on project progress and next steps

Provide access and information for contractors working on projects

Assist Project Leads with administrative function and processes

Assist AVP, Campus Operations with administrative tasks as required

Standards & Requirements

Education: Degree/Diploma in Office Administration; preferred by not required Certified Associate in

Project Management certification (CAPM)

Experience: 3‐5 years in an administrative role, preferably within the construction, capital planning or

post‐educational environment

Duties and responsibilities that do not constitute a major change may be added, deleted or changed at

any time at the discretion of the supervisor either orally or in writing
