**PURPOSE AND ACCOUNTABILITY**

This role is responsible for the daily operations’ efficiencies, which includes dealer accounts reconciliation, generation of dealers’ statements and invoices, chargeback write-offs and various payments/cheques to dealers.

The level of the job is defined by the experience and knowledge on performing these tasks and the initiatives performed during department ‘s day to day performance.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

- Generation and distribution of receivables
- Performing training for new team members
- Maintaining documentation of reconciliation processes.
- Ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in timely manner and based on defined SLA
- Address Cancellation Quotes calls and requests

**KEY ACTIVITIES**

Job responsibilities
- Create dealer reconciliation extracts
- Provide expertise on business accounts & outstanding balance
- Implement procedures specific to own stream’s business processes
- Help clients proceed with their operational needs
- Help clients on Cancellation Quotes calls and requests
- Provide training to less experienced colleagues
- Foresees business regulatory issues
- Provide business related extracts
- Provide support during audit processes.
- Follow LEAN principles
- Follow CX guidelines
- Making sure that that support is provided quickly, professionally and efficiently
- Analyze and review various reconciliation special handlings. This includes ensuring of the accuracy of dealer clients accounts and deliverables; invoicing, write-offs, cheques, account maintenance
- Ensure the acuracy of dealer suspense and outstanding balance
- Follow in-house online systems steps and functions (Workflow, UniFI, UniFIcation) related to reconciliation process
- Making sure that account details and updates are properly recorded for easy monitoring of accounts’ activity and decisions

User Assistance and Training
- Provide training and support to new and/or less experienced colleagues
- Assist other departments and make recommendations for possible solutions and/or work-arounds.
- Create dealer reconciliation extracts
- Provide expertise on business accounts & outstanding balance

Miscellaneous Tasks/Projects
- Provide assistance to Manager/Director when requested (ex: new dealer accounts evaluation, various statistics)
- Provide backup to tasks performed by the team when needed
- Attending courses for own development & growth
- Some overtime may be required during busy periods or new business tight deadlines

Education
- College courses, preferably in business

Experience
- ** Reconciliation specialist**: 2-3 years, preferably in insurance or financial services industry. Equivalencies will be considered e.g., 3-5 years experience

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to be flexible and evolve with changes required in the industry and working environments.
- Good to excellent in problem-solving skills
- Good to excellent in inter-personal and guiding skills.
- Ability to trouble-shoot and conduct business related analysis.
- Ability to train staff on an individual basis or classroom setting.
- Good presentation skills.
- Very good attention to detail in a complex environment.
- Pro-active and self motivated.
- Ability to act/respond quickly on tasks assigned
- Very good and efficient written/verbal communication skills

Expertise and Knowledge
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Very good knowledge of reconciliation processes and business needs
- Good knowledge of JIRA system & its Reconciliation features
- Bilingual in French and English would be an asset
