The Manager oversees and coordinates daily security operations of the Montreal Jewish Community Campus, which includes the Cummings House and affiliated buildings

**Duties**
- Oversee, supervise and monitor daily activities of the security desk
- Participate in implementation of different security projects planned by FCJA;
- Supervise the security operations for variety of major events organized by FCJA;
- Maintain and develop an inventory control system and an equipment tracking system (keys, kits, patrol vehicles, lost and found property, security equipment, etc.);
- Complete and update first respondent and emergency contact lists for FCJA and campus agencies;
- Set and maintain security standards for security companies hired by FCJA;
- Ensure, maintain and help deliver high-quality training to front desk security guards;
- Conduct the analysis and correction, if needed, of reports produced by agency personnel, and ensure their follow-up and filing (patrol, unusual situations, anomalies, etc.);
- Collaborate in administering the fire prevention program;
- Assist the Director of Community Security in billing;
- Manage and operate surveillance camera systems, access control systems, fire alarm systems and any other equipment belonging to FCJA and /or its agencies;
- Manage the validation and access card production processes according to established standards;
- Maintain communication and partnerships with other building services, including maintenance, HVAC, customer service, tenant relations, external agencies, etc.;
- Perform all other related duties assigned by superiors.

**Education, Knowledge and Skills**

A.E.C. (Attestation of Collegial Studies) in industrial or commercial security, or any other equivalent or higher qualification.
- Team spirit and a strong desire to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial or supervisory role, in a related field.
- Must hold and maintain a valid First Aid and CPR certificate recognized by the CNESST.
- Knowledge of security tactics, high level procedures, equipment and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to evolve in a computerized environment.
- Ability to manage stress.
- Ability to negotiate with strong analytical skills.
- Qualified in tactical planning and training;
- Qualified in environmental risk and analysis;
- Qualified in behavioral analysis;
- Must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills, be self-sufficient and energetic.
