Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) is a Crown corporation responsible for arranging supports and services for adults with developmental disabilities and their families. **The Role**:
As the Provincial Employment Lead, you will be responsible for determining and advancing the employment priorities within the Reimaging Community Inclusion workplan to increase employment opportunities for individuals served by CLBC.

Responsibilities include:

- Provide leadership and support to regional operations to promote employment and L.I.F.E. (Learning, Inclusion, Friendship & Employment) services and promote continuous quality and process improvement of these services
- Engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders such as individuals & families, service providers, provincial leadership organizations such as Family Support Institute, Inclusion BC, BC CEO network, Government ministries, regional operations of CLBC
- Develop and implement a plan and budget to increase the competency of CLBC staff and service providers to deliver supported and customized employment services
- Establish and coordinate initiatives and opportunities such as Community Inclusion Innovation Fund, evaluation of proposals, and establish and monitor grants. Support grantees to be successful.
- Evaluate and develop CLBC employment policy, practices, standards to maximize individual's participation in employment.
- Develop a framework to measure the results and guide decision-making for agencies that provide supported employment services
- Lead an education and change management strategy with agencies providing day/inclusion services that will result in increased employment opportunities, and increased options such as self-employment or micro-enterprise development

**Qualifications**:

- A bachelor's degree in a related human service field
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will also be considered.
- Experience providing employment supports for individuals and an understanding of developmental disabilities.

**Travel**:Occasional overnight travel may be required. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of CLBC. Possession of a class 5 drivers' license and a clean driver's abstract is required.

**Hybrid** work Combines on-site office work with flexibility to work from home within BC.
