**Reports To**:Facilities Maintenance Supervisor & Manager

**Start Date**:As Soon As Possible

Cypress Mountain is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join the Clean Team and help
maintain the cleanliness and standards of our facilities.

If you are detail oriented, capable of working independently or part of a team, and enjoy cleaning,
this job is for you Availability required on Wednesday & Thursday, 11am - 7:30.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES **(include but not limited to the following)**:
**_Cleaning Tasks:_**__
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Empty and sanitize trash receptacles.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
Refill restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
Dust and wipe down surfaces.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
Clean and maintain kitchen areas, including sinks, countertops, microwaves, and

refrigerators.

**_Maintenance Tasks:_**__
Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing

leaky faucets).
Report larger maintenance issues to Supervisor/Manager.

**_Stocking and Inventory:_**__
Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
Notify Supervisor/Manager when supplies are running low and need to be re-ordered.

**_Compliance and Safety:_**__
Follow health and safety guidelines and protocols.
Use cleaning chemicals and other equipment properly and in accordance with instructions.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Supervisor immediately.

**_Other Duties:_**__
Assist with setting up for meetings or events.
Respond to emergency cleaning requests.

**QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES**:

Proven experience as a janitor, cleaner, or similar role preferred.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.

Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Attention to detail and thoroughness.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Attention to detail.

Well organized, punctual, hardworking, self-motivated and outgoing.

Ability to remain organized and courteous when under pressure.

Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and decision making skills.

Adaptable to work effectively in a diverse and ever-changing working environment

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**:

Must be able to legally work in Canada
