**Main Responsibilities**
- Prepares and executes testing activities for technologies of railway signaling under the direction of the assigned hierarchy and in conformance with Alstom Transport policies and standards.
- Develops and Reviews T&C procedures for the signaling sub-system and against contractual requirements
- Execution of specific Testing activities according to the testing procedure / documentation and Sub-System Team Leader a/o PrCOM instruction.
- Adheres to Testing schedules and Testing plans for internal and external customers
- Performs Field Test & commissioning activities with quality while meeting customer, Safety expectations and project schedule
- Capture all test results clearly and accurately and prepare technical test reports for customer submission.
- Interact with Engineering and V&V Sub-System leaders for optimizing site test and investigation of testing issues.
- Uses the correct tools and equipment to perform the electrical and mechanical test activities. Ensures the equipment and tools in their care are calibrated and easily tracked.
- Uses and adheres to the use of PPE as defined by the EHS plan and customer requirements;
- Alerts the hierarchical superiors by any risk identified during the testing activities, and alerts management ( PrCOM, Canada T&C Department Head, PM, TiC,) if any EHS risk is identified.

**Experience**
- 0-2 years of field experience in a testing environment.
- Adaptable to variable work schedule to support testing activities.
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
- Knowledge of rail signalling considered an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams and Word)
- Familiarity with the use of standard Testing Tools.
- Experienced in writing/checking technical reports and communicating at technical meetings.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering technololgy (Electrical/computer/Computer science)
- Graduate of a railway engineering university considered an asset.

**Behavioral and Technical Skills / Competencies**
- Adaptable to variable Work schedule (nights/weekends) to support installation / testing activities.
- Rigorously perform T&C activities
- Disciplined with attention to detail
- Proactive and efficient to promptly solve technical issues and anticipate all technical difficulties
- Team player and customer oriented with emphasis on getting the job done
- Aptitude for self-learning and taking important notes as part of the learning/documenting process.
- Adheres to all applicable regulations, customer rules and professional standards (including EHS)
- Punctual, reliable, responsible and eager to share knowledge/expertise
- Performs responsibilities with mínimal direction/supervision from superiors.

**Language skills**:

- Fluent in English. French is considered an asset.

**Organizational Reporting**:

- Direct reporting: Project T&C Manager and
- Indirect reporting: Canada T&C Department Head
