**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Data Communication System Tester in Toronto, to join a Field Testing Support team in the rail industry.
- Prepare, plan, and execute test cases and scenarios in support of the Railway Signalling Project under the direction of the T&C Manager.
- Execute all work in compliance with company policies, standards, applicable regulations, and professional standards (including EHS).
- Perform specific testing activities according to approved testing procedures/documentation and project-driven priorities.
- Adhere to testing schedules and plans as agreed with internal and external stakeholders.
- Carry out activities with a focus on quality, customer expectations, and efficiency, including reporting test results, maintaining records, and ensuring configuration control.
- Utilize the appropriate tools and equipment for conducting test activities. Ensure that calibrated equipment and tools are properly tracked.
- Promptly report any identified risks during testing activities to the relevant superiors (Sub-System Leader, PrCOM, PM, RC TCM, etc.) if any EHS risk is identified.
- Develop and review T&C procedures for the DCS subsystem in line with contractual requirements.
- Perform responsibilities with mínimal supervision from the T&C Manager and/or Subsystem Leader.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology (electrical/computer/railway) or equivalent combined experience and education.
- 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in rail signaling industry
- Knowledge of testing procedures, standards, and regulations in the railway industry
- Proficiency in executing test cases and scenarios, and analyzing test results.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and adherence to EHS standards.
- Excellent understanding of system requirements and ability to develop and review testing procedures accordingly.
- Skilled in using testing tools, equipment, and software.
- The Field Testing support will be performed during day shift and/or night shift according to the need of customer _(a night shift and a day shift cannot be planned in a row)_
