We’re looking to hire a Sales Manager. Reporting to the Director, Sales, you will be responsible for creating and managing the business plan for Walmart, aiming to achieve agreed upon customer plan volume, revenue, and margin objectives. The position will lead initiatives with the Company’s major account to achieve sales, merchandising, and category development targets in alignment with the national sales strategy for the Frozen and Kit business within Canada.

**What You Will Get to Do**:

- Be the Walmart systems expert. Be the gatekeeper for all WM systems. Assist in the development and execution of national or regional customer business sales strategies
- Participate in the annual and long-term business planning and strategy development process
- Own and hits/exceed annual sales targets within the assigned larger account(s)
- Achieve alignment with Director, Customer, and Brokers through clear and concise communication
- Pro-actively develop, negotiate and implement trade spending investment and promotional plans to increase listings, distribution, share of shelf, and market share
- Participate in setting pricing of products and managing SKU assortments
- Coordinate company specific developments to improve sell-through rates, such as by introducing promotions, rebates and markdowns
- Understand category specific landscapes and trends by tracking customer sales performance, identifying variances vs. budget (volume, revenue & margin) and developing and execute customer programs to deliver customer plan on volume, revenue and margin that are consistent with overall customer business team and national sales strategies using internal and customer portals
- Responsible for developing Retail link sales, accounting, and service level reporting.
- Provide product and program tracking and monitor program results to react quickly to adjust as required using Retail link.
- Meet with customer replenishment and merchandising teams to maximize sales and inventory levels at warehouse and store through Retail Link data.
- Understand, be able to Navigate, Walmart’s Hive and Ecommerce platforms to ensure they are within spec, complete and up to date.

**Recipe for Success**:

- Completion of college diploma in Business Administration, Sales or another related field
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry, launching/developing new products and markets.
- Previous experience in category or sales promotion management
- Deliver account plans on sales volume, and revenue, selling expenses and trade spending, expired in-store cost control, overall profitability of Customer Business Accounts within Canada
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services with the ability to successfully position them against competitors
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and active insurance coverage
