Community & Cultural Development

**Job Duties**: This branch consists of positions that plan, lead, instruct and evaluate diverse and inclusive sport, culture and recreation activities for children and youth. Program plans, weekly activity schedules, and attendance reports are also required. The typical programs include: PlayEscapes, RECreate YQR (afterschool program) and MyTime.

**Pay Rate**:
$15.62 per hour; however, depending upon operational or programming needs, there may be work assignments that will lead to a higher rate of pay of up to $22.39 per hour.

Community & Recreation Programs

**Job Duties**: This branch consists of positions that prepare facilities, setup & take down equipment, monitoring of the building and supervising the facility for scheduled bookings, programs and special events. General cleaning duties for safe and efficient operation of equipment, programs and facilities is also required. Typical facilities include: Fieldhouse, South Leisure Centre, Cathedral Neighbourhood Center, Glencairn Neighbourhood Centre and Core Ritchie Neighbourhood Centre.

**Pay Rate**:
$15.62 per hour; however, depending upon operational needs, there may be work assignments that will lead to a higher rate of pay of up to $18.28 per hour.

Sports Facilities & Special Events

**Job Duties**: This branch consists of positions that prepare facilities, setup & take down equipment, monitoring of the building and supervising the facility for scheduled bookings, programs and special events. General cleaning duties for safe and efficient operation of equipment, programs and facilities is also required. Typical facilities include: all City operated arenas, Canada Games Complex and Leibel Field.

$15.62 per hour; however, depending upon operational needs, there may be work assignments that will lead to a higher rate of pay of up to $18.28 per hour.
