We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Assistant - Recreation Worker to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our team, you will provide personal care and social/recreation/leisure activities to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of our clients/patients/residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients/patients/residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Develop and implement individualized recreation plans to meet the unique needs and interests of clients/patients/residents.
  • Lead and participate in recreational activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and outings.
  • Assist clients/patients/residents with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores.
  • Communicate effectively with clients/patients/residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.

Requirements:

  • Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certificate.
  • 6 months experience in healthcare.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license, where required.
