Description:
The Support Intern will assist a Vice President and Project Director with various engineering administrative duties over the course of, which may include the following:

- Assist engineers, designers, project controls, and/or administrative professionals with administrative and non-administrative tasks.
- Shadow a variety of engineering/design project teams and support project deliverables where applicable; included, but not limited to, project coordination - scheduling meetings, project file indexing/organizing, making copies, collating drawings/deliverables, etc.
- Additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Essential skills and experience:

- Completed junior year of high school with an anticipated high school diploma date of June 2025.
- GPA of 3.0/4.0 or better.
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and commute to and from our Kincardine, Ontario office over a 6-8-week period.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of standard computer drafting or coding tools (i.e., AutoCAD, Java or MicroStation).
- Ability to multi-task from project to project.

Valued but not required skills and experience:

- Planning to attend a college or university in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline (i.e., Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) in Fall 2025.
- Experience using AutoCad, Java, or MicroStation software.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
