**About This Opportunity**:
In this role you will ensure the integrity of standard costs for raw materials and full goods (produced and purchased). You will play an important role in collecting, analyzing, and reviewing the costings for new and existing products and be a strong contributor in monthly forecasting, reporting, and annual business planning.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain standard costs related to Bill of Materials (BOM), sourcing matrix, marketing credits, activity rates, and purchased full goods for new and existing products
- Perform standard cost validations, analysis, and audits to ensure accuracy of material master data, sourcing matrix, and BOM, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Perform month-end and year-end closing functions that pertain to cost of goods sold and purchase price variances such as journal entries, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and account reconciliations while maintaining the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls
- Perform and provide volume/price/mix analysis, financial impact analysis, and change analysis of standard costs
- Participate in preparing the annual budget and ensure costing is updated timely and accurately

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum two years of experience in accounting or finance
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is an asset
- Cost accounting with SAP experience is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including advanced Excel functionality
- Flexibility to adjust workload and hours when necessary
- CPA is an asset
