**Job Summary**
**Duties**:
- Assisting with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews, and conducting initial interviews
- Conducting reference checks
- Assisting Microboards/PCS/IF Agents with onboarding processes
- Assisting in streamlining HR practices
- Maintain employee records and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Coordinate employee training programs and maintain training records
- Supporting various Microboards/PCS/IF Agents all throughout BC by responding to inquiries and providing general support
- Maintaining an up-to-date expense report for the HR department
- Assisting in rolling out an HRIS system
- Assist with HR projects as assigned, such as policy development or employee engagement initiatives
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a human resources department
- Completed or enrolled in Human Resources Management bachelors program
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., CommonOffice, Dayforce) and applicant tracking systems (e.g., iCIMS)
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in BC
