Position Summary
Manager, Digital Health Projects
Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, this role is responsible for undertaking management, planning, and implementation of Digital Health projects. The role will also provide leadership on the management of key governance groups (e.g., Digital Health Steering Committee, NYTHP Digital Working Group, Digital Health Steering Committee). The role will help implement project management best practices (e.g. project reporting, resource management) to deliver high quality outcomes to our patients and staff. This role has a strong combination of healthcare project leadership, stakeholder management, clinical systems change management, finance and people management. The incumbent will have direct experience leading teams
and overseeing the implementation of digital health solutions at a regional or provincial level. Individuals who would succeed in this role are positive, driven, and committed to building outstanding and innovative support programs.
On a practical level, you will

Assume overall end-to-end ownership of multiple digital health projects throughout project life cycle within a multi-disciplinary team environment including monitoring the deliverables of each team to ensure milestone and on-budget completion.

Lead innovation, change management and communications across the multiple stakeholders with an emphasis on customer service for digital health projects.

Responsible for managing staff along with performance management, recruitment, mentoring, coaching and providing assistance with career development for all digital health project management resources

Lead internal and external stakeholder facilitations to define issues and digital health
solutions from macro/micro viewpoint (e.g. interoperability between hospital information
systems, consult with provincial and regional leaders to provide recommendations on digital
health policies)

Manage vendor relations including but not limited to contract management, funding and
accountabilities of the vendors on behalf of program stakeholders.

Lead procurement for capital projects involving complex clinical and non-clinical vendor solutions for digital health projects.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in technology or related fields combined with a minimum of 5 years’ management or progressive leadership experience preferably within healthcare organization required.

ITIL Foundation certificate is required

5 years of experience in Information Management and Information Technology environment

Demonstrated experience leading a team and fostering a respectful, motivating and supportive environment.

Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the provision of evidence-based practice in a hospital setting and experiences in establishing requirements for information systems an asset

Demonstrated ability to create and execute plans and ensure timelines are met while working with a variety of stakeholders.

Expert communication skills to support the communication of system principles, standards and vision to end users

Certificate(s) in the following areas would be considered an asset: HDI-Support Centre Manager (HDI-SCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), ProSci Change Management

Project management experience an asset

In-depth knowledge of hospital system environment and support processes preferred

Experience in managing vendor relations including but not limited to contract
management, funding and accountabilities of the vendors on behalf of digital health
projects.

Bilingualism in French/English an asset
