_Assistant Chocolatier/Production Assistant_
As an assistant **chocolatier,** you will learn to be a specialized chef who creates candies and confections from **chocolate**, and your work revolves around choosing between varieties of **chocolates** and accessory ingredients, creating finished candies of all types and sizes.

Bernard’s Cannabis Creations is a new cannabis edibles brand from Palm Gardens located in Edmonton, Alberta. We are currently seeking an **Assistant Chocolatier / Production Assistant** to perform all commercial chocolate production requirements. This could evolve to encompass additional cannabis edible products.

You will be working with world-renowned Chocolatier Bernard Callebaut.

As a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual, you will be hands-on working towards developing and adapting cannabis-infused recipes, completing batches from infusion to the finished product as well as training staff, and ensuring quality is first and foremost.

To qualify for this position, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

- Some work experience in amanufacturing environment (preferably chocolate or candy), understanding the chemistry and science of chocolate, along with production efficiencies requirements, costs containment/ reduction and equipment is an assett.
- Working knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Standards
- Experience working with automated filling lines is an assett
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues is an assett
- Knowledge with crafting artisan chocolates and specialty items, including tempering, molding, mixing, finishing, and the preparation of ganache and fillings is an assett
- Able to minimize waste, with knowledge of proper storage and handling abilities
- Strong command of the English language
