Waterdown, Canada L'Altra Milano Ristorante LTD Full time

L'Altra Milano Ristorante is an Italian restaurant located in Waterdown, Ontario. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Prep Chef.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes.
- Be highly organized and able to multitask
- Open/flexible availability (including evenings and weekends)
- Basic safe handling knife skills
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Assist in properly receiving and storing delivered items.
- Follow a given recipe and quality standard and prepare various food items using different methods and kitchen equipment such as oven, broilers, fryers, and grills
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager.

Experience & Education:

- Culinary: 2 years (preferred)
- Cooking: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Food Safe, Safe Check, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
