Being the inaugural Xilinx Premier North American Design Services member means that we have great FPGA designers with leading edge expertise, and we solve some of the customers toughest design challenges.

We are seeking a Project Team Manager, that will be responsible for managing and directing the work of project managers and providing managerial oversight for multiple projects. This role is a working managerial position and will also involve managing projects.

A Look at the responsibilities of the Project Team Manager at Fidus*
**_Project Team Manager:_**
- Develop standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery and to set and manage quality targets.
- Forge strong partnerships with Sales, Finance, the Customer, and the Project Team to ensure efficiency across all aspects of the project.
- Establish process in collaboration with other departments for proactively identifying potential project issues and follow through to resolution.
- Develop processes, key metrics, and reporting methodologies to advance the project management team.
- Manage day-to-day performance of project managers and complete performance assessments.
- Ensure proper work is distributed evenly within the team and departmental utilization targets are achieved.
- Responsible for build management oversight in collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop vendor relationships and partnerships.
- Select, train, and develop project managers.

**_Project Manager:_**
- Manage project from inception to completion (scope, budget, schedule, resources, communication, customer relationship, and contractual deliverables).
- Address internal, vendor or customer issues that may impede project delivery and develop solutions.
- Track at risk metrics and facilitates actions to keep projects on track.
- Work closely with sales and technical leads to understand project requirements.

Attributes & Qualifications Required:*
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager and at least 3 years of experience managing a team.
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent.
- Solid understanding of a design services organization.
- Proven track record managing large projects using project management methodologies.
- Team leadership and mentoring skills.
- Extensive knowledge of project management and departmental processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with budget control and financial management.
- Experience using project management tracking software, such as Microsoft Project.
- Ability to resolve project challenges with innovative solutions.
- Ability to context switch in a fast-paced work environment.
- Completed or working towards PMP will be considered an asset.
