Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator, Sales is responsible for the marketing support and administrative activities of the Marketing Communications department under the direction of the Director, Marketing & Communications with a focus on supporting the equipment/retail sales segments of the business. The Marketing Coordinator will execute a number of activities across a wide range of projects and will work closely with members of the Marketing & Communications team and other departments as needed.

You should be a person who is in the know on the latest marketing trends and an early adopter of new social media platforms. Someone who loves advertising and marketing, is immersed in popular culture and is personally and professionally curious about new industries, topics and ideas. You are inspired to have an impact on a growing brand, motivated to do good work and always ready to multi-task, shift gears and roll up your sleeves to meet business priorities. You have a passion for being creative, while adding the right balance of structure and process to operate effectively at scale. **Major Responsibilities**:
**e-Marketing**
- Create messaging and copy for eblasts

**Social Media**
- Curate content from the community, present content ideas and suggest user-generated content to the Senior Social Media Specialist and the Director, Marketing & Communications
- Monitor social media platforms to ensure we are following and engaging with our community, brands and influencers to support our objectives, and identifying and keeping up with trends relative to the Sales environment
- Collaborate with the Senior Social Media Specialist to contribute to the creation of the monthly content calendar and content for all social media platforms, providing input from a sales-related perspective on potential topics and trends

**Sales Partner Support**
- Provide our internal and external sales partners with marketing sales collateral, articles, images, branding standards/ guidelines, updates, direction and feedback, and other materials as needed
- Coordinate delivery of high resolution images and logos as part of a marketing approval process
- Assist with supporting Sales partners by reviewing marketing materials and ensuring brand guidelines are being followed
- Work with others on the marketing team to brainstorm and create new materials and execute new campaigns to support partners

**General Marketing**
- Maintain and renew domains
- Maintain updated marketing materials by working with the Design Team and others to execute content updates as needed
- Coordinate product sample send outs or giveaways as required
- Track and report the results of various marketing campaigns using UTM tracking, and other means
- Lead or participate in other special projects and campaigns as required
- Coordinate the deliverables for print and digital advertising with input and direction from Manager and creative from the Design Team
- Track and coordinate the renewal of the company’s trademarks

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- University or College Degree in Marketing, Communications and/or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional non-internship experience in marketing
- Experience in a client focused business with exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication and relationship building skills, a positive, creative-thinker who is enthusiastic about their work, enjoys being a part of a team and working cross-functionally
- Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage a diverse workload, prioritise tasks and competing priorities while ensuring deadlines are met.
- High attention to detail with relentlessly high standards and outstanding organizational and prioritization skills
- Someone who is curious by nature: critically thinking about the business and implications of findings
- An energetic, go-getter with strong work ethic, personal commitment, integrity, diplomacy, an open and trustworthy attitude, professionalism and excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Someone with an attitude that they can tackle anything thrown their way, are excited by figuring out things they’ve never done before, highly motivated to develop ideas, spot opportunities, define topics and work with a wide variety of people to tell our stories
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Experience within advertising production a strong asset
- Experience working within the fitness, health, wellness industries is preferred, but not mandatory
