Email Marketing Automation Specialist

**Who we need**
This role will analyze performance metrics, build reports, and make recommendations to improve the performance of campaigns.
**How you will make an impact every day**
- Work in collaboration with the Director, Digital Marketing, and members of the DM team on the strategy, audience and implementation plan.
- Implement A+B landing page testing to further influence and improve on desired planned metrics
- Collaborate with the CRM and IT teams to define and gather data and technical requirements for audience/list creation of campaigns.
- Improve and optimize the briefing process.
- Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues, and working to resolve them
- Make recommendations to enhance effectiveness, and improve KPIs, such as open and click rates
- Assist in building and maintaining reports and dashboards within SFMC to track ROI and campaign success metrics
- Provide recommendations based on data to improve engagement and conversions of future campaigns
- Work with analytics to drive deeper backend data insights beyond fundraising activities
**Maintain and ensure platform functionality is optimized for marketing campaigns**
**What you bring**
**Educational Requirements**
- Post-secondary
- Not-for-profit experience is a plus but not must have
**Work Experience**
- 3 years’ experience building nurture and lifecycle management workflows using enterprise-level marketing automation systems (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Experience in database management (list management, data cleanliness, reporting, data import/export)
**Skills**
- Able to execute standard lead generation procedures including lead capture, nurture programs, and data flows through multiple platforms
- Hands on knowledge required in SQL, SSJS, AMP Script, HTML, CSS
- Fluency in Google Analytics
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency with spreadsheets
- Proven ability to handle multiple changing projects at one time with attention to detail and quality execution
- Excellent project management skills specific to marketing.
- Certification in SFMC is a nice to have
