What you'll be doing
- At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._

How you'll succeed- Relationship management - Ensuring effective communication is maintained throughout the credit adjudication process. Develop close working relationship with Private Bankers, Private Banking Associates, Credit Specialists, Mortgage Advisors and Regional Leadership as part of your day-to-day approach.- Credit risk management - Manage as needed cross functional relationships with other credit risk teams while also being comfortable engaging other internal teams to ensure an appropriate level of oversight on key risks when needed. Able to work in a self-directed manner within a small high functioning team performing the role in a consistent and effective way.Who you are- You can demonstrate experience. 3+ years' experience in Credit Adjudication and/or Commercial and Business Banking. Ability to understand and analyze financial statements.- You have a degree. Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, or related field.- It's an asset. Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Professional Financial Planning Course (PFPC) or professional designations in law, accounting or investment management considered an asset.- You put our clients first.
