Logistics Analyst

We provide transportation services for both individual car owners and businesses requiring transportation of multiple vehicles at once, including fleet transport services for car rental companies, dealerships, and government transportation of military vehicles. **Level**: Entry Level ( Logistics Operation experience for 1-2 years)

**Position Summary**: This position will be responsible for supporting, planning, organizing, evaluating and reporting all activities associated to Vehicle Distribution. Tasks include daily monitoring, analyzing relevant data, formulating reports, supporting with selecting and managing carriers, and report relevant KPIs

**Essential job responsibilities**:

- Monitor industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
- Billing and Invoicing
- Enter logistics-related data into databases.
- Contact customers for rates and schedules.
- Track product flow from origin to final delivery.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance measures.
- Maintain databases of logistics information.
- Develop or maintain freight rate databases for use by supply chain departments to determine the most economical modes of transportation.
- Communicate with or monitor service providers
- Review procedures, such as distribution or inventory management, to ensure maximum efficiency or minimum cost.
- Monitor inventory receiving, storage, shipping, and integrity.
- Develop or maintain models for logistics uses, such as cost estimating or demand forecasting.
- Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or transportation.
- Reorganize shipping schedules to consolidate loads, maximize vehicle usage, or limit the movement of vehicles

**Preferred Requirements**:
Experience: 1 to 2 years’ experience in Logistics Operations and Transportation

Education: Completion of University or College program with Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics major preferred.

**Skills & knowledge**:
1. proficient knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database management

2. Time management and strong attention to details is required.

3. Excellent written and verbal communications skills preferred

4. Ability to logically and systematically work through problems

5. Must possess necessary interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with different departments along with current customers

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $43,000.00 per year
