**About the Pedagogical Learning Centre**

In September 2019, London Bridge opened a Pedagogical Learning Centre in the front house of Stoneybrook ECLC. The

intention of this Centre is to create a collaborative, experimental space to study our Pedagogical Foundation that

considers what an “Early Learning Pedagogy in a More than Human World” can look like. We are looking for an educator

who is passionate, creative, and intentional in their work with children, coworkers, and families. The Educators in this

classroom of 24 preschoolers will work alongside a Pedagogist in order to question and give visibility to different

pedagogical practices in our work. Over time, this site will host a variety of visitors, from both inside and outside London

Bridge, who will be invited to participate in intensive studies alongside us.

**About You**

You are excited and eager to be part of an important transformational pedagogical project. You are curious and open to

both questioning and being questioned. You care about social justice issues and their role in early childhood. You have a

demonstrated commitment to reflective practice and the study of pedagogical approaches. You use documentation to

inform your work and have a practice of seeking out diverse ideas. You have a desire to learn and grow alongside other

early years professionals through collaboration and intellectual engagement.

**Position Summary**
- Work with a team to study and develop innovative pedagogical approaches
- Intentionally question and disrupt historical teaching practices and attitudes
- Experiment with ways to include children and families in the development of curriculum
- Engage in critical reflection alongside a variety of Early Learning Professionals
- Practice self awareness and engage in critical reflection with others
- Work with others to nurture a democratic and creative learning community
- Participate in team meetings, centre initiatives and professional learning opportunities
- Use technology to support learning and enable program innovation.
- Work and think together with other pedagogical leaders
- Demonstrate how theory affects practice and practice affects theory

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of London Bridge pedagogical orientations and Anti-Bias Education
- Live London Bridge core values, mission and vision
- Can demonstrate strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Have extensive experience with pedagogical documentation
- Can demonstrate reflective practice and living in question
