**What you’ll be doing**:

- Be an expert on each of the products, the current and emerging market opportunity and the competition.
- Develop product go-to-market strategy, in collaboration with the CCO.
- Develop core positioning and messaging for the products that differentiates them from competitors in the market.
- Maintain and manage competitive intelligence and comparisons by working with cross-functional stakeholders and executing self-lead research.
- Use market research data to determine product pricing, in collaboration with Sales.
- Communicate the value proposition for the products to the sales and Commercial team, and train the sales force on how to sell the products.
- Assist sales on calls when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the products.
- Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of the products.
- Create product content and marketing materials such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts that communicate product features and benefits.
- Develop and implement promotional activities, marketing tools and campaigns to attract new prospects and customers.
- Determine conference and trade show annual plan in collaboration with Sales, and lead logistics planning.
- Develop the launch plan for new products.
- Gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas.
- Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage.
- Develop opinion leaders, product advocates and reference customer sites, in collaboration with Sales.
- Map relevant guidelines impacting the market opportunity for the products. Establish and implement strategies to influence relevant guidelines for inclusion of our products or technology.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Bachelor’s degree (BSc or BCom or other business degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of product management experience, ideally working in a nucleic acid detection and/or IVD company.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in the pharmacogenomics or point of care diagnostics market.
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer empathy, with an ability to analyze product and market dynamics and use these to craft winning strategies that assist the sales force in achieving the company’s growth goals.
- Sound understanding of the development process for nucleic acid detection assays.
- Experience working within an ISO 13485 business environment for in vitro diagnostics.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel as required for activities such as customer or key stakeholder meetings and conferences.
