The Finance Operations (FinOps) Center, located in Greater Moncton, New Brunswick, is an integral part of TD Finance, delivering finance services with a commitment to operational excellence.

TD Finance is an integral and trusted partner to businesses across the Bank, made-up of diverse teams, strengths and capabilities contributing to TD’s overall success. Together, TD Finance helps the Bank make smart business decisions, ensure regulatory compliance and financial reporting accuracy and guard the integrity of TD’s business processes, drive efficiencies with external suppliers and manage TD’s global real estate portfolio.
Our core Finance teams help to make TD the Better Bank by working together to deliver insightful advice, meaningful reporting and professional operations The TD Finance operating model is comprised of three main parts:

- Finance Operations - a centralized team performing a range of services such as general accounting, reporting, and transaction processing on behalf of Finance and the Enterprise
- Business Partner - perform analytics and provide advice to the business to support strategy and decision-making
- Specialized Functions - providing domain or knowledge-based expertise to the Enterprise

Job Details

As a Manager of Workforce Effectiveness, you will be responsible for driving greater consistency, increase awareness and oversight and enhance customer/colleague experience by delivering:

- Stronger FTE Management & enhance capability to measure success
- Enhanced transparency for sharing resources across teams
- Collect & analyze workforce planning data to forecast and understand staffing trends and needs
- Engage the senior leadership to determine district level staffing gaps, hiring, and trainee deployment as well as management of the FTE Plan
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the business management function and play a key role in the development and implementation of strategies in support of the overall business strategy
- Plan, lead / manage and/or oversee a diverse set of work activities requiring alignment across multiple areas
- Lead / manage the integrated implementation of policies / processes / procedures / changes in across multiple functional areas
- Facilitate key discussions and provides thought leadership to executive audience (output is roadmap and/or strategic plan/ deliverables/frameworks/ short to long term goals etc.)
- Lead partner to management / leadership and respective teams for area of specialization with industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness; recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying issues and opportunities and recommending action to senior management
- Work effectively with multiple teams across a broad spectrum of initiatives and functional domains, influencing and aligning others as needed

**SHAREHOLDER**
- Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to business management activities for own area
- Actively manage relationships with corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
- Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts to the Bank
- Assess / identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders where required
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure an in alignment with risk appetite
- Ensure business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, and physical control of assets).
- Lead relevant governance meetings or committees and related deliverables / outcomes
- Lead / facilitate and/or implement action/remediation plans to address performance/risk/governance issues
