Wakefield Canada Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a full time Inventory Coordinator reporting to the Manager, Inventory and Demand Planning. The Inventory Coordinator works within a collaborative Inventory and Demand Planning team and plays a key role to support demand through the effective coordination and maintenance of raw material and/or finished goods inventories across the Wakefield supply chain network.

**In this role, you will**:

- Create and maintain stock transfers which includes coordination with Toronto and regional distribution.
- Manage product availability balance and adjust planned orders by reviewing materials availability and forecast of source and destination warehouses.
- Perform routine network inventory on hand analysis to manage unproductive inventory redeployment.
- Generate inventory pre-placement and follow through to completion to support launch, special events and seasonal activities.
- Assist with purchase order creation, maintenance and resolves discrepancies for assigned portfolio.
- Maintain regional MRP planning parameters to reflect changes in demand as well as changes in products including changes in pack size and pallet quantities.
- Additional support as business needs require.

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Has strong multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities to meet time sensitive deadlines and fluctuating demands.
- Has a professional attitude with a focus on driving results through collaboration and teamwork.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Is detail Oriented and displays high degree of accuracy.
- Post-secondary education required. Achieved or working towards supply chain designation an asset.
- Has minimum 2 years practical/hands on coordination experience in a similar environment.
- Has working knowledge of key inventory components including demand, source, lead times, relationships and complexity an asset.
- Has experience with ERP systems - Microsoft Dynamics an asset.
- Has intermediate proficiencies of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
