**Salary**: $70,000-$78,000

Full-time (35-40 hours per week)

On Campus 114 Isbister Building, Fort Garry/Remote

*Position is a one-year term with potential to become permanent.

The Faculty of Social Work was established in 1943. The faculty offers high quality programs at both the undergraduate (BSW) and graduate (MSW and PhD) levels and is accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Social Work (CASWE). It presently offers courses at three different sites (Fort Garry, Inner City and Thompson) and by distance delivery.

The BSW Distance Delivery Program offers an online BSW degree for students across Canada and abroad. Currently there are approximately 450 students in the online program, with 100 new admits per year. Students are required to complete two 420 practicum hours.

The Field Coordinator is responsible for field education development, coordination, administration, and monitoring placements. This position facilitates appropriate matches between students, Field Instructors, and field placement/settings across Canada and with Manitoba Cohorts. The Field Coordinator is responsible for supervising the Faculty Field Liaisons assigned to field placements including monitoring and communicating with all students assigned to Faculty Liaisons.

Job Requirements:

- Demonstrated knowledge of practicum experiences.
- Knowledge and experience working with some of the following fields: Indigenous peoples, child welfare, social policy, criminal justice, disability, mental health, school social work, and social work with newcomers across Canada (required).
- Knowledge and experience in social work policy and practice (required).
- Demonstrate ability working with online technology.
