We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy and Governance Manager who is accountable for the delivery of the equity, diversity and inclusion strategy, policies, programs, practices and learning across OLG. Through cross-functional collaboration, the role partners in the development and implementation of a multi-year EDI plan that has sustainable, measurable goals and actions and is aligned to enterprise strategic priorities.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

Reporting to the Director Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, you will be empowered to:
- Partners with Director in the planning and implementation of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and priorities- Collaborate with stakeholders including: Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and organizational leaders in co-creating strategies for hiring, retaining, and promoting employees who represent different backgrounds, including those from historically underrepresented populations.- Evaluate current policies, practices and programs and make recommendations that take into account legislation, and best practice- Partner with leaders and other internal stakeholders to embed equity, diversity, and inclusion, in OLGs programming, learning, HR practices, communications, marketing, strategic initiatives and other areas- Accountable for the planning, implementation, delivery and monitoring of equity-related initiatives across the organization, in collaboration with enterprise leaders and employees- Lead the launch and development of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs); lead the identification of co-chairs and sponsors, group operationalization, training, communications, initiatives, events and success measurement- Partner with OLG’s employee resource groups (ERGs) to ensure their voices are amplified and enable them to be strategic partners to the business.- Provide oversight in the management of individual ERG budgets ensuring programs and initiatives are delivered within budget- Responsible for the development and communication of the EDI annual report to the organization- Maintain a strong understanding of the current literature and the legal and legislative frameworks related to EDI; conduct industry research using online tools and publications; identify opportunities and make recommendations to inform the development of EDI programs.- Act as an expert resource to ensure EDI research related issues are disseminated across the organization- Building and maintaining strategic partnerships externally in the sector and other sectors to understand changing trends and best practices; represent OLG publicly at conferences and speaking engagements to expand network for the organization- Support the Director of EDI and Chair of EDI Council with support delivering insight on communicating equity, diversity & inclusion information internally and issues management when needed.- Own the communications roadmap and governance of OLG’s EDI strategic plan, employee relations and wellbeing office- Serve as lead in partnering with internal communications and other relevant stakeholders to provide content for multiple deliverables- Assist Director with CEO related briefings and written communications to various audiences- Drive the storytelling and impact of EDI office outcomes through innovative impactful communication tactics- Proactively engage and measure progress with external partners (Catalyst, WXN, Diversio, Black Talent Initiative, Pride at Work etc.)- Continuously assess and make recommendations to improve employee experience from an EDI and employee wellbeing lens across various touchpoints (onboarding, mentorship, talent development etc.)- Evaluate and maintain relationships with external organizations and partners that align with our strategic EDI goals.- Act as a genuine and trusted EDI advocate for employees and a change champion for the organization.- Manage and respond to enquiries with existing EDI partners, potential partners, and continuously evaluate ROI and impact- Work across a dynamic team of stakeholders to manage and track progress across multiple priorities and intersecting themes, including Sustainability and Reconcili-action- Assist Director with establishing a comprehensive calendar outlining annual activities (events, programs, milestones), and tracking pr
