The Glencoe Club is a private, family-oriented sports and social club located in the Elbow Park neighbourhood of Calgary, Alberta. Our facility boasts a full-service food & beverage department as well as eight sport facilities. These facilities include curling, bowling, skating, aquatics, squash, tennis, badminton, a climbing centre, fitness centre, an indoor playground, and a Pro Shop.

We are seeking Elbow Park Tennis Club Attendants to assist in the member experience and maintenance of the tennis courts. The successful individuals will show initiative by identifying and creating opportunities to enhance member experience at Elbow Park Tennis Club. This position is seasonal in nature.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensures adherence to specific area operating policies, programs and/or procedures which shall be consistent with the Club’s general policies
- Greet and check-in all EPTC members and guests upon arrival
- Maintain, groom and sweep five clay courts as necessary throughout shifts
- Maintain Clubhouse appearance throughout the day (i.e. sweep and mop floors, washrooms etc.)
- Explain any events (i.e. Welcome BBQ, Club Champs etc.) to members and be able to assist in sign up process
- Court booking logistics
- Accurately complete all sales transactions, payments and nightly cash balancing
- Be familiar with all emergency procedures and be ready to execute if/when needed
- Monitor the facility and report irregular activity or issues to the Duty Manager or Supervisor

- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Leadership skills
- Clay court maintenance will require some heavy lifting

This is a seasonal, part time position of 30 hours or less per week. Shifts for this position include:

- Monday - Friday, 3PM - close (dependent on sundown)
- Saturday & Sunday 8AM - 3PM or 3PM - close (dependent on sundown)

We require all staff members to have availability for at least one weekend shift per week.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a criminal background check, and Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications.
