Head Tennis Professional

**Key Accountabilities**
- Oversee, lead, and foster a vibrant Tennis Department with ‘Best in Class’ programs and services
- Ensure the effective administration of all programs, leagues, Fun Nights, competitions
- Supervise and monitor Tennis facilities
- Retain competent, qualified instructors and staff; supervise, mentor, and evaluate instructors
- Oversee all on-court instructional and coaching programs, clinics, and private lessons
- Provide on court instruction within contract limitations (up to 10 hours per week)
- Prepare information for registration, calendars, CWC communications, reports, and meetings
- Collaborate with the Supervisor to prepare, manage, and forecast the annual budget
- Work with the Tennis Committee on section programs, leagues, etc.
- Work jointly with CWC administration, accounting, communication, and registration personnel
- Maintain provincial and national Tennis professional accreditation and certification
- Enhance professional and sport knowledge on an annual basis via professional development avenues
**Knowledge & Skills Required**
- Excellent and proven leadership and management skills
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Above average computer skills
- NCCP Certification - Level III or higher
- A minimum of 5 years in Head Pro or Assistant Head Pro role
- A minimum of 5 years Tennis instruction, coaching, or elite competitive experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in response to competitions, events and fluctuating demands
