Evolugen’s Human Resources (People & Culture) team is looking for a **Summer Student**. As a student, you will provide support in various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and other HR administrative duties.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Oversee the new hire onboarding process
- Manage the HR shared inbox, responding to inquiries and highlighting requests as needed
- Maintain and recommend updates for internal communication site
- Ensure all confidential employee files are maintained and compliant with applicable laws, corporate policies and audit requirements;
- Actively participate in updating and documenting policies and programs;
- Other administrative duties as assigned
- Act as a contributor on various HR projects and work closely with members of the HR team in process improvement activities.Clean-up Job Description data base

Standardize Interview Questions

**Who you are**:

- Self-starter, enthusiastic, and willing to learn;
- Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to multi-task and prioritize;
- Service-oriented and capable of communicating with employees in both English and French
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities;
- High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism; must be able to handle all confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.

**What you must have**:

- Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program;
- Completed first year of studies in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gatineau, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 1 year (preferred)
