Edmonton Pediatrics & Heart Clinic is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our clinical team. Adult cardiac sonographers with interest in pediatric echocardiograms will be considered.

Main Responsibilities:

- Performing diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures using independent judgment to accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings.
- Ability to acquire excellent images.
- Evaluate, collate and provide the impression of exam.
- Assume responsibility for the safety and physical comfort of patients while they are in your care.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation of procedures
- Maintains efficiency and effective work practices
- Philips Affinity machine in use

Qualifications include:
*Graduate from a Canadian accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography Program or equivalent

*ARMDS/CARDUP/Sonography Canada certification.

*CPR Certified

*Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal, with a demonstrated ability to communicate with a high level of professionalism in interpersonal relations.

*Evidence of organizational skills with the ability to prioritize; work well under pressure,

and show flexibility.

*Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.

*Satisfactory attendance record

**Job Type**: Part-time

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Echo Tech: 1 year (preferred)
