**Job Title**: Chief Estimator

**Location**: Brampton, ON

**Company**:Our client is a mid-sized contractor in the ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) construction sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the estimation process for all projects, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and competitiveness in bids.
- Develop and implement estimation strategies to maximize profitability and win rate.
- Build and mentor a high-performing estimation team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with project management, procurement, and other stakeholders to optimize project outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to inform estimation practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experience in construction estimation, preferably in the ICI sector.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and manage a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
