**Duties**:

The main duties of the administrative Assistant are the following:

- Review and follow up on incoming correspondence and requests
- Calendar planning
- Coordinate budgetary and human resources planning and control
- Assist in the planning and coordination of special projects
- Provide advice and recommendations to management in its preparation
- Presence in production to carry out necessary follow-ups and validations

The production centre is responsible for printing, inserting and distributing checks on behalf of the Receiver General for Canada. Our checks are delivered all over the world. Our clients are both internal to the federal government and external at the national and provincial levels. Our work environment compares to a factory with noise, dust, handling of paper. Work is under pressure and deadlines are sometimes tight.
