**Title**:Inventory & Receiving Associate

**Overview**:
The Inventory & Receiving Lead will be responsible for working within the production team, under the direction of Inventory and Logistics Manager, ensuring that vendor orders are received, inputted and stored correctly and efficiently, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise, while always ensuring compliance and operational excellence. The Employee will work within the general production and distribution operations and be critical to building the Company’s flagship product offering in Canada. In addition to the inventory and receiving duties, the Inventory & Receiving Lead will regularly work cross functionally within the Operations team to provide support, as needed and requested by the Quality Assurance Person (or Alternate), Director of Operations or Inventory and Logistics Manager.

**General**:
Report directly to Inventory and Logistics Manager, while working cross-functionally with the Operations teams and interacting regularly with individual department Heads to ensure that the Company’s operational, business development and strategic priorities are aligned with operational performance.

Experience and understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards that govern the sector.

Be available to work onsite at the Company office and site/facility, and to travel to other places of business as required from time to time, for the benefit of the Company, at the direction of the Inventory and Logistics Manager.

Perform assigned tasks and responsibilities efficiently and effectively. This includes meeting deadlines, achieving performance goals, and delivering high-quality work.

**Responsibilities**:
Product Logging (Receiving)
- Receiving and completing Inspection Checklist
- Product Count & verification
- Product lots verification against COA & Letter of Guarantee
- Chain of Custody verification
- Product Attribute logging
- Print out labels for bins/products organization
- Check each individual products for tax stamps/lot/packing date

Update quality documents for SOPs (Material storage)
- Destruction old samples/products
- Cycle counts
- Stock adjustment for damaged products and discrepancies
- Help out pick and pack / pallet packing
- Assist with creating documents for POs (CoC, CoA and LoG)
- Filing PO documents

Keeping the area clean under GPP

Physically Receive Product in the loading bay and perform necessary checks.

Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, letters of guarantee and batch records.

Track inventory using ERP and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate.

Log product details into spreadsheet templates as laid out in SOPs.

Coordinate and communicate with outside vendors to ensure necessary documentation is relayed for efficient onboarding of products.

Organize warehouse and pick & pack area to ensure FIFO is being followed and materials are easily accessible.

Assist pick & pack and other elements of operations as required under the direction of the Inventory and Logistics Manager.

File and organize documents relating to product logging under the guidance of the AQA and Head of Compliance.

Assist in maintaining a GPP standard of cleanliness throughout relevant workspaces.

Work with the Operations team, under the direction of a Team Lead (Inventory, Processing, and Pick & Pack) to perform various production and processing activities with cannabis products, including flower packaging/bagging, order picking and inventory handling and fulfillment, and other routine cleaning, record keeping and administrative duties, as needed.

Prepare and inspect finished goods and processed flower for irregularities (mold, defects, and imperfections) and inform the Opertions Lead of nonconformity.

Assist with troubleshooting any issues that may arise within the operations.

Assist to ensure orders are consistently shipped out in a timely manner, and without shipping or packing errors.

Understand, adhere to the Quality Management System, and specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain quality control measures in accordance with them.

Develop and refine processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and increase customer value.

Ensure tasks are done in a way that adheres to compliance, security and safety standards at all times.
