You are focused on optimizing processes, improving administrative efficiency, and ensuring that our communications internally and externally are effective and professional. You are driven by the goals of increasing the company's revenue, expanding its client base, and ensuring operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct administrative tasks with precision, such as maintaining detailed records of government contracts, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with government reporting requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, providing outstanding service to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the government sector, focusing on relationship building, understanding government needs, and positioning our products and services to meet those needs.
- Strategically navigate government procurement portals to identify new tender opportunities, and participate in end-to-end bid process including proposal preparation, submission, and follow-up.
- Coordinate and assist with finance and operations teams to ensure contract fulfillment, including invoicing, payment processing, and adherence to government contracting guidelines.
- Facilitate effective internal communications to ensure the team is aligned with government contracting goals and strategies.
- Assist with grant and funding opportunities relevant to government services and products.
- Organize digital files and assist in developing streamlined processes to increase efficiency of our workflow.

**Preferred Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience Level: 4+ years of experience in administrative or business development roles with direct involvement within a startup or small business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and drive sales initiatives is essential.

The company is B2G (business to government), providing a variety of services and goods to the governments in Canada (municipal, provincial, and federal).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $18.75-$29.48 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
