Bon Accord, Canada Sturgeon Public Schools Full time

Sturgeon Public School Division is currently seeking a qualified full-time Educational Assistant 2, for a work assignment at our Bon Accord Community School.

**FTE**: 1.0 FTE; 6.5 hrs/day; Full-Time Temporary

**Initial Assignment**: Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will work in a Grade 1 and 2 classroom.

**Qualifications & Experience**: Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Diploma or Certificate; experience working with Autistic children is an asset; CPR and First Aid are desirable. Experience working with students who have difficulty managing emotional responses to frustration. Trauma informed training is an asset. Preference given to applicants with experience and training with Autism and Behaviours. Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements may be considered.

**Hourly Rate**: $18.82 - $23.57 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
